Serving Kindergarten – 6th Grade in South Chandler

School in our Home
Since our big kids were little I’ve been teaching our own kids at home. Now a few children from the community are joining us for school at home in south Chandler. With a bachelor degree in elementary education and 18 years homeschool experience, I’m happy to share my hard earned teaching skills with the community and give a few more kids an opportunity for an individualized education.
Homeschool Enrichment
Part-time enrollment
Pick one or two days a week, half or full days, to join our little class, and do the rest of your learning at home. Choose the days by the topics you want covered:
Monday – Language Arts and Music
Tuesday – Math
Wednesday – Social Studies
Thursday – Science and Art
Full-time Microschool
Join our class for our Monday – Thursday school week. We cover all the basics of grammar, reading, math, social studies and science. We also have music, art, cooking, and lots of hands on learning.
Personalized Education
Because we have such a small class I am able to get to each individual, see where they are in each subject, and meet them where they are. Together we’ll celebrate their strong subjects, strengthen their weak subjects, and encourage their curiosity.
One-on-One Tutoring or Homeschool Coaching
Just need some extra help? My degree and years of teaching homeschool make me qualified to help. Tutoring or coaching sessions can be arranged as needed. Cost is $35 per half hour session.
You, like all our students, are invited to join our Homeschool Recess group in the Chandler area. See our Facebook page or contact me with Recess as the subject.
To see the way I teach, look at my Home Schooling Philosophy, How to Teach Your Kids to Read, Layering Lessons Part 2, or Fun Days and Field Trips.

Tuition can be paid in full with an Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA). I would be happy to help any parents new to ESA learn how to use it. Tuition is nonrefundable.
*I’d love to teach your child cooking and nutrition skills by helping them cook lunch for our group once a week. You can see a summary of our nutrition standards on Simple Nutrition for your Kids. If you don’t love that idea, they are welcome to bring their own lunch.
I appreciate that our public schools keep religion separate from education to respect the rights of all to choose their own beliefs, and I claim the privilege of teaching with a Christian perspective in my own home.
It’s not too late to join our class.
For questions, to request an application, or to schedule a free trial day please contact me with MICROSCHOOL as the subject.
